This March, Leadership Wisconsin Executive Director, Sarah Schlosser, and International Seminar Co-Chairs, Tim Baye and Joan Gillman, embarked on a pre-trip to Croatia where they began preparation for the International Travel Seminar to Croatia for spring of 2018. In the coming months we will release photo journals from their travels where readers can get a taste of the Leadership Wisconsin travel experience to come. In this first photo journal, we will explore some of the architecture of Croatian cities and the surrounding landscape.
Mediterranean architecture of the Dalmatian Coastline in Split
Farming in the Neretva Delta between Split and Dubrovnik
Stone buildings line the seashore cliffs in Dubrovnik
A view of the terra-cotta rooftops from the Walls of Dubrovnik
Street art on a building in Osijek
Amidst the ancient city walls of a country with complex history and tradition, seminar travelers will explore Croatia’s entrepreneurial leadership through turmoil and transition. If you are interested in experiencing the beauty of Croatia with Leadership Wisconsin as a Seminar Scholar, click here.
