As our first series of Virtual Book Club discussions comes to a close, we invite alumni and friends to get involved in this innovative approach to leadership development. Leadership Wisconsin is currently looking for book recommendations and volunteer discussion facilitators. The Virtual Book Club is an exciting and accessible way to continue your leadership journey from the comfort of your own home. Whether you are constantly traveling for work or you would prefer not to add another driving commitment to your schedule, the Virtual Book Club allows you to engage in meaningful discussion from anywhere!
Do you have a favorite book on leadership or management? Leadership Wisconsin wants to know what you have been reading lately! Help us find the topic of our next Virtual Book Club by sharing a leadership or management book you’ve read recently; a book you thought was fantastic and could offer great conversation for a book club discussion. We are excited to hear what you have to share with us and with leaders across the state.
In the past, we have discussed books such as Leading with Cultural Intelligence: The Real Secret to Success by David Livermore and Finding Your Voice: Learning to Lead…Anywhere You Want to Make a Difference by Larraine Matusak. If you have a book suggestion for the Virtual Book Club, email us at email@example.com.
Is there an author that has helped define your leadership journey and inspired your leadership success? Leadership Wisconsin and WRLP alumni are invited to give back by featuring their favorite resource in their own virtual book club discussion. Further build your leadership repertoire and that of others by sharing how a leadership or management book has helped you become a better leader. By facilitating a Virtual Book Club discussion, you will help Wisconsin leaders unpack important issues related to leadership and management.
This low commitment opportunity requires your attendance on a single one-hour discussion call that will involve a Q&A session with participants. We want to share your expertise and experience with the rest of the state! If you are interested in facilitating a book discussion, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
