Renee Koenig has more than 10 years of experience leading community development programs focusing on workforce development and the health and human service needs of underserved and disadvantaged populations in Wisconsin.  Renee is currently employed as a Regional Research Coordinator; this position is supported by UW-Madison’s health research infrastructure.  She is involved in building, supporting and maintaining community-academic research partnerships to improve community health. Renee’s educational background is in Business Administration and Human Development.  She is pursuing a MS degree in Counseling. 

Renee serves on the Kewaunee County Economic Development Board.  She is a certified literacy tutor for Literacy Partners of Kewaunee County, Inc. and for the past 3 years she has volunteered her time to tutor Spanish-speaking county residents on a weekly basis.
