Curt Peterson has worked for the past eight years for Hanor Co. on their Main Farm in maintenance. Hanor Co. is a pork production company that has facilities in several states. The Main Farm is a farrow to finish operation that also sells breeding stock. The farm has 12,000 hogs.

Following high school Curt worked on his father’s dairy farm with his father. The dairy cows are gone now and have been replaced with 30 head of beef cows, five miniature donkeys, five fainting goats and some chickens.

In 1985 Curt was elected as Supervisor to the Dodgeville Town Board. In 1993 Curt was then elected the Chairman of the Town of Dodgeville Board and still serves in that capacity. Curt also served for 10 years on the Board of Directors for Foremost Farms. Curt also represented Foremost Farms on the World Dairy Expo Board of Directors for several years. From 2002 to 2006 Curt served on the Iowa County Board as a Supervisor.
