Join Leadership Wisconsin Group XIV for their INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR TO SPAIN & MOROCCO, February – March 2012
Alumni, board members, seminar chairs, and past executive directors are invited to join Group XIV for their International Seminar. Come and discover the world of connections, where everything meets: the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean, Europe encounters Africa, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are side by side. Races and colors melt together, the future the present and the past are entwined. Enjoy the majestic history and lively culture of Morocco and Spain. Our agenda will focus on the cultural, political, economic and social aspects of life in Morocco and Spain. We will fly into Spain and travel from Madrid to Granada, Cordoba, Sevilla and then cross over the Strait to Morocco and travel to Tangier, Fes, Taza, and Marrakech. We are aiming for 14 days of travel in Feb-Mar 2012. All wishing to participate must send in a $100 donation postmarked by September 1 to reserve your place — NOW extended to 9/10. October 8 – 16, 2011 – Alumni International Seminar to IRELAND
This International Seminar will incorporate insightful cultural and technical visits throughout the country of Ireland as arranged by Dennis Deery, Alumni Group X and close contacts he met while he and his wife lived and worked in Ireland. Meet and interact with local residents and community leaders to discuss a wide range of issues from local traditions to the global challenges and opportunities they face within their communities. The unique visits and cultural activities will be woven together with the opportunity to meet and interact with local residents along with a bit of free time for shopping and other personal interests. Travel is open to all Leadership Wisconsin (WRLP) Alumni, board members, seminar chairs, past directors, and spouses/partners. Travel to Ireland will be via Chicago.
